The Chicago Theatre The Chicago Theatre was built in the 1920's and continues to operate as one of the nations greatest show places in it's new venue as a performing arts center. Chicago was home to many famous people, not the least of which was the infamous Al Capone. Capone condicted business from "the Jewlery Exchange" building which is shown towering above the theatre. He regularly held business meetings with other bosses there and provided "in limo" service to lift a guests limosine in an elevator to his office suite high up in the building. Safer than street level delivery wouldn't you agree? |
